Opportunities for your child to be a leader

Throughout their time at St. Patrick and St. Edmund's Catholic Primary School, we provide lots of opportunities for all children to be a leader, in various different ways:

School council

School Council - their role is to focus on ideas for improving the school environment and extra-curricular activities/events

School council is formed from children in KS2. They are elected by their classes in September and serve for the academic year. They meet regularly and are involved in special projects across school. The Council is supported by a class teacher but the children are responsible for taking on roles within the Council such as:

• Secretary,
• Chair
• Pupil voice to their classmates.
