Every child and adult in school is placed in one of four House Groups when they arrive.

The houses for our Infant children are named after the 4 patron saints of Great Britain. This supports their curriculum work when they learn about the different parts of the British Isles.

St. George – St. Andrew – St. David – St. Patrick

The houses for the Junior children are the four Gospel writers. This supports children’s understanding of the Gospel message as they grow in faith and prepare for the Sacraments of Holy Communion and of Confirmation.

St Matthew – St Mark – St Luke – St John

Children earn house points which lead to individual rewards for children and also group rewards for each house. Each week in Friday assembly, house point reward cards are issued and the school trophy is awarded to the house with the greatest total for the week.

Each house has a party and celebration on their Saint’s feast day.

Each house is led by two Year 6 pupils who are voted for by all the children in that house group and who then are role models for all the children in their team.

Sports day is organised in these house groups.
