About Us

St. Patrick and St. Edmund’s Catholic Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive school located in the heart of inner-city Birmingham. As a two-form entry school, admitting 60 children to each year group, we provide a nurturing and high-quality education for children aged 4 to 11, rooted in our strong Catholic values and commitment to academic excellence.

Our school operates across two sites, both within 900 meters of each other:

  • Infant & Nursery Site (Nursery – Year 2): Rosebery Street, B18 7PA
  • Junior Site (Year 3 – Year 6): Dudley Road, B18 7QW

Both sites are close to the city’s famous Jewellery Quarter and within walking distance of some of Birmingham’s most iconic landmarks, including Symphony Hall, the Sea Life Centre, ThinkTank, St. Chad’s Cathedral, and the Library of Birmingham. This fantastic location allows our children to experience a wide range of cultural and educational opportunities right on their doorstep.

The two schools merged to form a single community, allowing us to build on the strengths of both St. Patrick’s and St. Edmund’s while continuing to provide a seamless and supportive learning environment. Our dedicated staff ensure that every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, both academically and spiritually, in a caring and safe setting.

St. Patrick and St. Edmund’s belongs to the parish of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, within the Archdiocese of Birmingham. Our faith is at the heart of everything we do, shaping our curriculum, values, and daily life.

At St. Patrick's and St. Edmund’s, we celebrate diversity, promote kindness, and instil a love of learning that prepares our pupils for the future. We are proud of our vibrant school community and welcome families who share our mission to educate and nurture children in faith, knowledge, and service.
